Beavis and Butthead Are Still Great 30 Years Later – And Here’s Why

I grew up with the loveable outrageous teenage antics of Beavis and Butthead. Long before Southpark, there was Beavis and Butthead. I loved Beavis and Butthead so much, I spent probably 20 bucks to win one of each doll from a crane machine in my mall. I loved Beavis and Butthead so much, that I was Butthead because of my brown hair, and my best friend, a blonde, was Beavis. (Not the most attractive nicknames, but it was what it was lol.)

Imagine my excitement and anticipation when a new series of Beavis and Butthead began on Paramount Plus a few weeks ago. I’ve been watching faithfully since the very first episode, and Beavis and Butthead may be better than ever, especially in an age of cancel culture. Beavis and Butthead are the same unfiltered, off the wall, controversial dynamic duo who are going against this woke era of cancel culture. read more

Review: Nintendo Switch Hundred Year Kingdom Sucks And Is Not Even Worth the Six Dollar Sales Price Right Now

Title says it all. I just finished my first playthru of Hundred Year Kingdom and it sucks donkey balls – here’s why. No story, no CG scenes, barely able to see this world you built, mindlessly clicking and spamming the confirm button = no real gameplay and definitely no strategy. Complete waste of $6. And I really pity anyone who paid full price even at a paltry sum of $12.

So what is this game all about?

You have a goddess companion who does nothing except put some idle chat on the left hand side of your screen or occassionally claim she found money or items. She has no personality or character development at all. And neither do you (or whoever the Main Character is.) No real meaningful interactions. no backstory, no nothing, nadda, zip. read more

Disney Dreamlight Valley Review

I’ve spent the past month playing Disney Dreamlight valley on the Nintendo switch.

Disney Dreamlight valley is a cute farming and life simulation game featuring memorable Disney characters past and present.

You grow crops, cook and discover new recipes, decorate your home and village, and customize a unique avatar.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is similar to the sims or animal crossing or harvest moon or atelier or similar simulation games.

Is this game for you?

Here’s my advice as a player since launch: read more

Using AI Art as Psychic Medium

I’ve been experimenting with AI generated art. I got bored of the usual stuff I’d been drawing so I decided to ask the software sort of psychic or spiritual questions such as:

Who was I in a past life?

Where did I live in a past life?

What was my favorite past life?

Who is watching over me from heaven?

What does spirit want me to know?

Who is my spirit guide?

A few common things, scenes, etc keep coming up and since I’m not psychic I figured I’d ask here if there’s any meaning in these things: read more

My AI Art Inspired By Sexy Asian Anime Men and Kpop/Jpop Stars

I mentioned in some of my other posts that I began using Photoleap, an AI text to image generator that allows anyone to be an artist and create fantastic unique one of a kind images. I love Photoleap the most so far out of all of the AI programs I have tried. Although I’m still on the waiting list for Dall-e-2.

In case you missed it, you can see some of my other AI art, mostly created with Dreamstudio.

My AI Art Inspired By Sailor Moon and Runway Fashion Models

Two things that pair really well on beta.dreamstudio.ai are Sailormoon and Runway model. Here are some of the images I made.

Naoko Takeuchi often used designer fashion as her inspiration for sailor moon. And these slight variations of sailor moon inspired fashion designs slay in both comic books and on the runway.

You can check out their website and try it for yourself. It’s art by robots based on the text prompts entered by people. Now everyone can be an artist regardless of skill talent or ability. I’m addicted to creating AI art read more

My AI Art Of Pikachu Eating Pancakes Is The Most Wholesome Thing You Will See Today

I recently began exploring AI Art. I started with signing up for the Dall-E 2 waitlist. I’m still waiting. So while I was waiting, I began exploring alternatives. First alternative I discovered was Dreamstudio.ai – but yesterday I discovered Photoleap which is more affordable. But I dropped a few bucks on Dreamstudio a few days ago. As you can see all of my Sailor Moon and Lisa Frank inspired artwork here.

Before starting a thousand image journey with Sailor Moon and Lisa Frank, I had tried various other things. One such thing was something as simple as “Pikachu eating pancakes” that’s it, literally 3 words, as you can see in some of these screenshots. Some are the actual output images and some are screenshots I took while creating. read more

My AI Artwork Inspired By Lisa Frank and Sailor Moon

I’ve recently become obsessed with creating art generated by artificial intelligence using programs like artbreeder and more recently, dreamstudio.

AI art is not perfect. It sometimes is hilariously awful or nightmare inducing. But sometimes its damn beautiful. Even when it has like five arms or a leg coming out of its ear. Hey, it worked for Picaso! Sometimes the extra arms plus anime like vibes give me feels of ancient gods like Vishnu or similar which works fine too.

I am on the waiting list for Dall-e-2 which I think has gotten better at arms, hands and faces. read more

Music – What To Listen To Week Of 7/31/22

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these posts hasn’t it? I’m actually going to a lot of concerts this summer. I just went to one a few weeks ago, which is kinda embarrassing – I didn’t know the band really – I knew one of their songs maybe – but I had no idea they were from Nickelodean – so there I was as a 40 year old woman watching a kid’s tv reality show band – ha… Oh well if anyone asked I could have pretended to have kids sitting down closer to the stage or something right. lol. For those wondering, the band was Big Time Rush – and actually I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am a big “boy bands” fan – Kpop or american pop or european boybands etc. I like how they all harmonize and dance in unison and also get their own little moments to shine. And well most of them are easy on the eyes. Not even sure if these boys were all over 21 lol. Oh well. 🙂 Haha. I’m not like a super hardcore fangirl, I don’t know all their names or favorite colors or foods or whatever – but I like me some boyband music. Well if you’ve read these posts before you know I like a lot of different genres, not just boybands. I’m a fan of 80s and 90s music and 2000s-today and everything from pop to country to rock to hiphop and everything in between. Here’s what I’m listening to this week – How about you? Drop me a link to your favorite songs in the comments below. read more

My Steam Deck Arrived Yesterday, and Games Are Unplayable

My Valve Steam Deck 521 GB model arrived yesterday. I preordered it on day one, which feels like it was probably a year ago now. At that time, I had a lot of hopes and dreams and spoke highly of the potential of the Steam Deck in this post here. Upon receiving it, my initial excitement turned to disappointment – however; that has since changed, at least a little, as I’ve spent time getting to play with it.

@geekysweetie.com So my Steamdeck arrived today… Not sure how to feel now… I ordered a 1tb card for expansion (and have the 521gb model so that part will be sorta kjnda fixed… but most my games are not compatible with it. I haven’t actually tried playing anything because im working and because it came dead and has to charge. I paid almost $700 for this and expected it to play wvery steam game… hmm 🫤🤔😐#steamdeck #fail #epicfail #happysad #wtf #computer #error #upset #doesntwork #wontwork #expensive #notwhatiexpected #unexpected #disappointment #unboxing #game #gaming #gamer #steam #steamdeckerrors #steamdeckfails #tech #technology #techunboxing #techreview #earlyadopter ♬ Steven Universe – L.Dre

What went wrong, you ask? First, it was not fully charged upon arrival. Not a huge deal but a minor detail. I plug it in and the process to begin setup begins. It goes smoothly and everything is setup. And then the very first screen is an error about a missing library file. I restart and the error persists… After several more restarts that error goes away… read more

Gkids Belle Anime Review

Disclaimer: This review may contain Spoilers.

I just watched Gkids Belle. I came across it while scrolling through Amazon Prime looking for something to watch. I later found I could have watched it for free on other streaming services, but I was quite intrigued and paid the $4.99 to rent it for the day on Amazon Prime. I had not heard of it or read or watched anything about it before seeing the trailer at that very moment. From the trailer and honestly almost the first hour of the film, I had no idea it was basically “Beauty and the Beast”. read more
