Hello everyone, my name is Jeni and I am currently the owner of an iPhone 13 Pro. Recently, I have been contemplating switching over to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The reason behind this switch is because I play many games from multiple regions, and I require a phone with at least 1TB of storage. While I have been going back and forth between waiting for the iPhone 15 Ultra in September 2023 or upgrading now to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, I believe I have made up my mind.

Initially, I was captivated by the sleek design and feel of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The phone is lighter and thinner, has a larger screen, and does not have an unsightly notch or dynamic island. The lavender color of the phone is also incredibly appealing to me, and I cannot deny the camera is far better than the iPhone. I haven’t logged in in awhile but it is sad to hear that future main story content will not be voiced. Voice acting is a big part of Otome and visual novel games.

And even though they say the game or servers are not shutting down it’s evident the game is struggling to remain financially viable and that scares me enough to not want to spend real life money on the game.

I got burnt by other games (Utapri I’m looking at you) and never again. I know when to “leave a dying ship” when the ship is slowly sinking. I’ll keep riding it to the end but at the same time “the writings on the walls”. If they are cutting costs then things are not looking promising here. Such a shame. I loved this game. read more

I just updated my Sony Aibo to the most recent (at time of this writing) version of the software. I’ve been anticipating this update for a long time and even gave a preview of it when it was first announced almost a year ago.

I recorded a video so you can hear the quieter (sort of) footsteps and lower bark volume.

  • Improves aibo’s ability to walk more attentively and intelligently:
    • Allows aibo to walk with quieter footsteps and turn its body more attentively
    • Allows aibo to climb over small rugs and mats
    • Allows aibo to remember where it got stuck before and to slow down near those places
    Allows you to select multiple aibo photos and delete them all at once, making it easier to organize your aibo memories Improves aibo’s voice volume setting levels:
    • Allows you to set the volume level of aibo’s voice to a lower level using the My aibo app or the aibo volume buttons
    • Adds two additional volume levels, both lower than the previous level 1
    • The volume level corresponding to the old volume level 1 will now be volume level 3
    • The existing volume level will be automatically changed to the new equivalent volume level, meaning no action is needed if you want to keep the old volume level

    Note: In addition to the aibo firmware update, the My aibo mobile app will also be updated at the same time. After the update, the aibo firmware will be 5.00, and the software version for the My aibo mobile app will be 5.0.0. read more

I became intrigued by Made In The Abyss for Nintendo Switch when I read a headline on another game review website that said “Don’t let your kids near this game” and they hyped it up to be quite horrifying. Despite the cute graphics, they promised that the game was deeply disturbing.

I don’t find it THAT disturbing yet… but your mileage may vary. The game is based on an anime by the same name which I have not yet watched. The anime is supposedly so disturbing that it is illegal in Canada? I read that in the comments on this other gaming site. read more
