Let’s discuss some of the criteria I used to create this list of games for girls. Most girl gamers desire video games that focus on story and character development. For gameplay they want relaxing and enjoyable casual experiences with little to no combat or traditional turn based RPG style combat. Some genres that girls enjoy include JRPG, Otome, Visual Novel, and Simulation games. Girls also appreciate games that feature female protagonists, multiple endings, and the ability to shape the outcome and flow of the story through player choices. Another big factor for girls is crafting or building and a focus on simulation style games.
