Why I Bought the Lenovo Legion Go 2 (and Why It Was Worth Every Penny)

“You spent $1,600 on a handheld?”

Yep.

I’ve heard that question a lot since buying my Lenovo Legion Go 2.

On paper, it sounds ridiculous. There are less expensive handheld gaming PCs. There are gaming laptops. There are consoles. There are rumors of new Lenovo handhelds every few months. There are accessories that promise to fix the shortcomings of competing devices.

So why did I buy one anyway?

Because after trying different gaming setups over the years, I realized something important:

The best gaming device isn’t the one with the highest benchmark. It’s the one you’ll actually want to pick up every day. read more

Anime Expo 2026 Announcements for Gamer Girls, Otome Fans, and Shoujo/Josei Readers

Anime Expo 2026 came in swinging with the exact kind of chaos my backlog did not need:
otome sequels, visual novels, shoujo revivals, yuri licenses, fantasy manga, BL, CLAMP artbook bait,
and enough “coming in 2027” announcements to make my planner feel personally attacked.

This roundup is focused on the good stuff for gamer girls, otome players, visual novel fans,
shoujo and josei readers, yuri/BL enjoyers, and anyone who still gets emotionally damaged by pretty
anime boys and magical girls
. So not every huge AX announcement is here. This is the
“yes, but is it for my shelf, my Switch, my Steam wishlist, or my romantic damage pile?” edition.

Love and Deepspace Valko Controversy Explained

Love and Deepspace Valko Controversy: Why the Canceled 6th Love Interest Became Bigger Than One Wolf Boy

Love and Deepspace has always been dramatic. We are talking tragic sci-fi romance, beautiful men, emotional damage, space-time mysteries, monster hunting, and gacha pulls that make my wallet hide under the bed.

But the Valko controversy? This escaped the otome fandom containment unit.

What started as a new love interest reveal for Love and Deepspace quickly became a massive fandom, gaming, business, and mainstream media story. Valko, also known as Ao Yin in the Chinese version, was announced as the game’s sixth love interest, promoted with werewolf imagery, EonCore Tech lore, and a July 9, 2026 debut planned for Version 6.0. Then, after intense backlash, Infold/Papergames canceled him entirely. read more

Atlabs AI Video Generator Review

Atlabs AI Video Generation Tool Review

The team from Atlabs.ai reached out to let me know about their new AI video generation platform. Among many unique features, it can be used to generate a music video by uploading an audio file, image, or video. In the case of providing an audio file, Atlabs will scan the file for style genre, tempo, mood, key scene references, and recommend a general story concept – or you can prompt your own story and characters.

There are other tools too such as script to video, product promotion videos, placing your own image into a music video, and much more. You can do lip syncing, add motion, create avatars, clone product videos, upscale videos, modify videos, and choose from premade video styles or browse what the community is creating. read more

Samsung Galaxy XR Headset Review

I preordered the new Samsung Galaxy XR Headset. My primary reason for wanting this device was seeing the pass through ability and native Google play store apps so knowing Google Translate would be part of this, I envisioned being able to translate my Japanese Otome games into English with a larger screen and with less wrist pain (previously I would hold my phone up running Google Translate).

There really wasn’t much info on if this would even be possible but with a 14 day return policy I thought why not, why not test it out and just see? And I’m so excited to share that it works!!! read more

Nintendo Switch 2 Reveal – Excited? Disappointed? A Little of Both.

Hey sweeties,

So, the Nintendo Switch 2 finally got its big reveal and… whew. I have a lot of feelings. Some good. Some not-so-good. Some why even bother bro.

Let’s just rip the band-aid off: I’m kinda disappointed. I mean yeah, there’s some exciting stuff in the mix—a new Zelda (yes please), a new Donkey Kong, new Kirby Air Riders, and okay, I’ll admit it—that new Dracula-inspired game, “The Duskbloods” (I knew it had “Dusk” and gave big Castlevania vibes) looks sick. That’s the kind of dark, moody, pixel-chic I live for. read more

Can AI Music Create an Emotional Response From The Listener?

So you may be wondering why I haven’t updated my website lately. I’ve been using most of my free time to create AI Generated Music using an app called Suno AI. I have been using Suno for about 6 months now and here are my thoughts and some of my favorite creations so far.

I’m sharing my music online on most music platforms. Feel free to follow Geeky Sweetie on:

Apple Music:

Spotify:

YouTube Music:

IHeartRadio

Amazon Music

Or Wherever you get your music.

So when I first started, I was mostly just entering a prompt and selecting a style and letting Suno do as it pleased. I probably made about 500 songs that way. Some were frivilous or some ended abruptly or had low sound quality. Then I started writing my own lyrics and things changed. read more

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro

We’re all excited about the new color options like hot pink, teal, and royal blue for the iPhone 16, but there’s more to the new models than just their looks. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro come with larger displays and slimmer bezels, giving them a more modern feel. The Pro models stand out with their advanced triple-camera system and enhanced performance, thanks to the A18 Pro chip. The Pro models also include new audio features and support for advanced video recording capabilities, making them perfect for creators and tech enthusiasts. Pre-orders for the new iPhones start on September 13, and they will be available on September 20.

Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2

Apple also introduced the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, both of which come with new health monitoring features and a sleeker, thinner design. The Series 10 introduces sleep apnea detection, which builds on its already comprehensive sleep tracking capabilities. This feature will help users monitor potential sleep disorders and suggest further testing if needed. The new models are expected to be available for pre-order soon, with a release date anticipated later this month.

New AirPods and Audio Features

The latest AirPods Pro have been updated with improved wireless audio latency, particularly geared toward gaming. The new Personalized Spatial Audio feature is a standout addition, delivering a more immersive audio experience with dynamic head tracking, perfect for gaming and music lovers. With a significant reduction in audio latency, these AirPods are designed to give gamers an edge and enhance the overall listening experience.

iOS 18: The Biggest Updates Yet

iOS 18 was another major focus of the event, promising a host of new features that make the iPhone more capable and personalized than ever. Some of the key updates include:

• Messages via Satellite: This new feature allows users to send and receive texts and emojis over iMessage and SMS when cellular or Wi-Fi connections are unavailable, which is ideal for remote locations or emergencies. • Mail Enhancements: The Mail app is getting a significant upgrade with on-device categorization and a new digest view that organizes your inbox into Primary, Transactions, Updates, and Promotions, making it easier to manage emails. • Safari Improvements: Safari will now feature a redesigned Reader experience, offering a summary and a table of contents for longer articles, and a new “Highlights” feature that surfaces key information from web pages. • New Passwords App: Building on the original Keychain, this updated app helps users manage all their passwords more efficiently, offering new tools for security and ease of access. • Gaming Features: Personalized Spatial Audio for gaming and improvements to in-game voice quality enhance the gaming experience on iPhones. Game developers are already adopting these new APIs to provide advanced sound design for games. • Notes and Journal Apps: Notes are getting live audio transcription, collapsible sections, and improved highlighting, while the new Journal app is designed to help users track their well-being, write regularly, and set journaling goals. read more

Is the Steam Deck Still Worth It in 2024? A Cozy Gamer Girl’s Guide

I’ve had the Steam Deck since its launch, and it’s been a mostly positive experience. However, a few quirks and challenges remain. Here’s my take after using it for a few years.

Finding The Sims 4 CC Custom Content Mod Folder

One thing that many players, especially Sims 4 fans, might wonder is where to find the CC (Custom Content) mod folder on the Steam Deck. In my case, the path was:

home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1222670/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods

It’s a bit of a trek, but once you know where to look, it’s straightforward. read more
