We All Experienced Covid 19 In Different Ways.

It’s 2021 and 1 out of 5 Americans are now fully vaccinated, including myself. Others like my mom are completely anti-vaxxers and distrust not only this vaccine, but the government in general. Some of us got Covid and survived. Others lost friends and loved ones who often times died without seeing their loved ones all alone in isolation. Some of us lost jobs. Others worked harder than ever. Some of us got married, got divorced, had babies, adopted new pets, took up new hobbies. Some of us revel in delight at being able to work from home. Others have a hard time with at home offices or online learning. Some people felt isolated, other people didn’t even bat an eye at the lack of human contact. We all have different physical and emotional needs. So how we experienced and continue to experience the pandemic is different for everyone, even in the same household. No two people are exactly alike. read more

Atelier Games Release Order – What Order To Play Atelier Games In?

My first experience with an Atelier Game was Playstation 2 With Atelier Iris back in 2005. Almost 20 years ago. Today for an Easter present, my fiancé gifted me a Nintendo Eshop Gift card – what a good fiancé, right? lol. So I decided to buy some of the older Atelier games in the digital deluxe trilogy “packs”. These packs are also available on PS4. And many of the games are available as stand-alone entries too. Steam on the PC is another good place to look for Atelier games because they actually have some of the older games that have been re-released for PC. Plus there’s always steam sales – although these titles almost never ever go on sale. Boo. read more

Is Set from Smite Overpowered?

There is nothing more frustrating than fighting a battle that you are going to lose from the beginning. It feels pointless and it takes all the fun away. That is sometimes how we feel while playing vs Set. It seems like the damage he deals is from another planet, so it’s no surprise that ProClockers has ranked him as the top character in the game. In a matter of seconds, your HP goes from 100-0. To many people, this feels a bit too powerful. Even if Set is supposed to be the best god in the game, this doesn’t justify him being unfairly strong. We decided to play many games with him, just to see if he is as overpowered as we think. If even we can dominate the game with him then everyone can. read more

20 Game Series That Need A Sequel

1.) Lunar

Still my favorite game series of all time, Lunar, deserves a sequel and has plenty of source material to derive such a sequel or rather, prequel from. What I’d like to play is the original tale that started it all, playing as Dyne, with the original reincarnation of the goddess Althena, and Ghaleon, and Mel, and the other 4 heroes (whose names I’ve forgotten at the moment). Of course, they could always just spin it off in a new direction in a future somewhere and use return appearances or references of some of the characters. But the logical next step to me, would be to let us see and play the tale of the original 4 heroes. read more

Calico – Cute Cat Cafe Game With Tons Of Customization & Inclusivity

I just purchased Calico and began playing it over the weekend. Calico is a cute anime style Cat cafe game. The gameplay is simple and relaxing. You collect cute animals and run errands for towns folk while baking cute treats to sell in your cafe. You can also buy and unlock new recipes, new furniture, and new outfits.

What I love most about this game is how inclusive it truly is. You can be fat, slim, short, tall, black white, or green, or yellow, red, pink, whatever. You can have long hair, short hair, curly hair, straight hair, bangs, no bangs, side bangs, etc. I mean my character looks almost exactly like me in real life. And within game, the NPCs are various body/skintone types too. read more

How the London Fashion Week has evolved over the years

Regardless of whether you’re a model swaying down the runway, a purchaser in the first line of a show, or a shopper essentially selecting your most recent outfits, fashion is a large business. It utilizes around 800,000 individuals and contributes 26 billion pounds to the economy every year in the UK, making it the country’s largest artistic industry.

To place that into the setting, the F&B industry gives half as numerous jobs and contributes 4.1 billion pounds less. Given the monetary position of the apparel business, it bodes well that London Fashion Week is held in such high respect. The semi-annual festival of designers, arising patterns, and innovative expressionism has solidified itself as quite possibly the main occasion in the fashion schedule. read more

Injuries and Geek Life

The word geek was initially used to describe people who did not quite fit in some society’s expectations. Nowadays, a geek is simply a techie, someone who is both enthusiastic and an expert in matters of digital technology.

By nature, geeks spend most of their time behind the computer, creating or fixing things. Global events are slowly shaping the future of work as virtual and remote. This means that more and more people will also be spending most of their time behind these screens too.

While this type of lifestyle seems short of injuries compared to work areas like construction sites and factories, it can also present serious health risks.  read more

Pine – Kickstarter Game Based On Personal Illustrations By Tom Booth

Pine is a successfully funded Kickstarter game about a grieving woodcutter who lost his wife. What makes the game unique and even more interesting is that it is based on an internet-famous set of images from illustrator Tom Booth.

For the past 3-4 years he has been creating the story of the Wood Cutter based on his own deeply personal feelings of dealing with the death of a loved one. No one knows the whole story because Tom has said he wanted to “try something different” to tell his story – so here it is. He has chosen to do a kickstarter game. read more
