3.) Nintendo Switch – Because it’s current-gen and more and more games for girls are still being released for it. I think it’ll even surpass the PS2 – which is ranked at number 4 on our list. Already there are numerous JRPGs, Otome Games, and Visual Novels. The best games for girls on Nintendo Switch are especially Fire Emblem 3 Houses and Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE – a remake of the Wii U game that’s a Mashup of Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem. Obviously Zelda is another big Nintendo exclusive. Girls also love the cute pokemon games although they are light on story. Animal Crossing is perhaps the favorite of this console. Several of the other Switch games are admittedly available on PC or PS4 but still worth noting. For example you can get Clannad and Catherine and Caligula Effect Overdose on the Switch too. Also I think some of Idea Factory’s newer Otome releases are exclusive to the Nintendo Switch now. I’m anxiously awaiting Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side 4… Whether we get it in English or not, I’m still going to buy it lol.

And those are just the ones released in the past 6 months which is as far as I can see without filtering out some of the games. The Nintendo Switch has been on the market since 2017. The actual list of games for girls on Nintendo Switch is about 5 times longer than this. And since it is a current generation console new games are coming out daily. So as you can see, the switch deserves our 3rd spot for best console for girl gamers.
