Overall Score: 53 / 80 66% D “Average Game for Girls” – NOTE: If we ignore lack of story and not a strong variety in characters, the score would be 53/60 or 88% B+ “Very Good Game for Girls” which more accurately reflects my own enjoyment of this game.read more
Ensemble Stars | Dating Sim | Stat Raising Sim | Trading Card Game | IOS | Android | Anime | Game
I’ve been enjoying Ensemble Stars, a game that lets you collect cute anime boys. When I first got the game, I assumed it was like Love Live School Idol Festival! However, it’s a little bit different. Most notably, Ensemble Stars is a Stat Raising Simulation. Not only do you collect the cards (just like in Love Live School Idol Festival!) but then you train different stats such as vocals, dancing, etc. Also, this is NOT a rhythm game. I initially thought it was, until playing it. There’s no user input in battles; it’s all mathematically determined. Your cards stats vs the Opponents’ stats.read more
Concept: 8/10 – This is a very cute app with a lot of fun features. The main focus is on dressing up your “student” and entering different monthly challenges for limited outfits. There’s also an otome element to the game as you can interact with your pet in a “dating sim” sort of fashion.read more

Concept: 10/10 The concept in Pokemini is to collect limited edition items to decorate, not only your avatar, but also your room, and your planet. The highlight of the game is the new “Fashion Fever” events which allow you to earn free items or donuts (the in-game currency) by designing different looks based on a given theme which are then voted on and scored by the community. There’s also a brand new flea market to trade/sell items with other players, and a cooking element as well as quests to further engage the user.read more
Apple angered a lot of consumers by not announcing a 32GB Apple Iphone 6S or 6S Plus at their annual Apple Event this month. The base model has just 16GB, while the next jump has 64gb, and the next 128 gb, each increasing substantially in price.
So how do you figure out how many GB you really need? I’m a huge gamer, so more space is always welcome. I currently have an Ipad 2 (older generation before they had Ipad Air) I have only the 16GB model. And for me, that’s plenty. I have over 40 IOS apps (games) installed right now. I do get alerts about my storage being full; and regularly I have to decide which apps to (temporarily) delete to make room for new cool games that I want to play.read more

Concept: 6/10 Tiny Farm is a game similar in nature to that of Harvest Moon or Farmville. The objective is to take care of live stock, plant and harvest crops, go fishing, and breed the animals in your farm, all while making a profit to buy new farming equipment, better seeds, better livestock, etc. It’s one of those games that’s fun in small doses, and addictive at first, but if you intend to play it heavily, you may become bored by the repetitive nature of these games. They try to lessen that effect somewhat by regularly having special events with limited edition livestock or other prizes that you don’t want to miss out on, which keeps you logging in to keep up with the latest in-game events and items. I also find it a bit more interesting than just a farming simulator as you can also run your own zoo, or go to the beach, or participate in other activities as well.read more

[quote]”The new Apple TV is much more powerful than its predecessor, which is a crucial upgrade for the device’s gaming ambitions. It’s powered by a 64-bit A8 processor and supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. “It’s just 10 millimeters taller,” than the previous device, said Apple’s Eddy Cue. As for connections, the new Apple TV carries over the same, simplistic power / HDMI / ethernet setup as the old model. It will launch in late October in two configurations: 32GB for $149 or 64GB for $199.read more

Been a lonnnng time since I’ve posted anything for you guys. So here is a review of one of my favorite Ipad Games (plus hey it’s free, so you should really check it out!)
First, I’m still alive, and still geeky and passionate about all things geeky, kawaii, or otherwise known as awesome. I work a full 40+ hour work week, as a web developer / graphic artist / catchall for web/graphic/print/advertising/marketing lol. So I often don’t feel too inspired to work on my many “personal” (fun / hobby) websites. This one here ( https://geekysweetie.com ), http://partymotif.com , and my newest one http://otakujam.com I do not profit on anything that I write. I do have ad revenue, but not even enough to cover the costs of running and maintaining the servers and domain names of all the sites, let alone the time and energy and effort into maintaining them. So I apologize if updates are slow. If you’re actually reading this, thank you 🙂 If you’d like to chat sometime about games or anime or technology or anything else, please feel free to drop me a line. I love making new geeky friends. 🙂 Also I hope to go to Colosocon in Sandusky OH this spring. Anyone else going? ^^ I am super shy, and need friends :).read more
