I recently purchased my first recast dolls (Shown in the featured image) (Sorry for the bad photo >.< I will update once their wigs and clothes arrive). Anyways, when I purchased these lil cuties I was nervous and not sure what to expect despite having done my own research as well. I own 13 and counting legit ABJD, and although I’m not super active in the doll communities I do like to share photos of my dolls and attend annual meetups or bring the dolls to conventions, and I have a small circle of about a dozen friends I’ve met through the hobby and I worried how owning a recast doll may damage those friendships. read more

Update: 12/21/2017 – The developers of the PC version of Heart of Crown reached out to me via email and wanted to provide support for some of the issues I encountered, as well as to let me know about new features that are underway, such as full screen mode (currently in the beta client), and a tournament that will take place next year to celebrate the international release of Heart of Crown. They also wanted to let me know that there are (text based) chat rooms available on the Discord server (and I’ve adjusted the score for community based on that feedback). Overall, it is encouraging to see an active Dev team who seem to really care about improving the game and connecting with the community. 🙂 I hope they continue to work on polishing up the PC version of the game, but as I said already in my original review, yes the game has issues, but at the price point of $19.99 (at time of this review) it’s a great game and still a lot of fun, and a worthy purchase. read more

Pusheen box continues to impress with large, big ticket items, and tons of exclusives. Pusheen 2017 Spring Box marks one year of my receiving this quarterly subscription crate, which first debuted in Winter 2015 (I missed out on the first box, boo). Ever since I joined in Spring 2016, I’ve never once been disappointed by the contents of my box, making it by far, the best subscription box for girls.

I received my box in May, which happens to be my birthday, and inside, there’s tons of birthday / party related goods – awesome coincidence. I could throw myself a Pusheen party, but don’t have anyone to invite except for my cats lol. read more

I signed up for Yume Twins in May, 2017. The May box had a cat theme with lots of cute (but ultimately "cheap feeling") plushies. As a cat lover, and kawaii collector, it was too good to pass up.

As you can see from my instagram posts – I got my DokiDoki Crate today. My final verdict is do not subscribe to this crate — It has cute stuff, but the stuff inside was worth MAYBE 10 bucks, and that’s REALLY fricken stretching it lol. — I’d say its worth about 5 bucks. I paid $15 with a coupon. Regularly they charge $30 — which is almost criminal if you ask me. It was FULL of TINY teeny tiny JUNK. I subscribe ALSO to Pusheen Crate which is the same price and full of SUPER high quality, wonderful, LARGE items. — This is like literally full of 25 cent trinkets, no lie.— Some of them are adorable of course — but I feel they are charging too much. I also want to add that Kitty Blue in the Ohio ABJD meetup group helped me restring and hot-glue “suede” this doll a year or two ago which helped a lot of the problems I mention in this review.
