Sugoimart Sailor Moon Keepsake Box Review

Posted on January 25, 2020January 28, 2020 By GeekySweetie

Thanks to the folks at Sugoimart.com for allowing me to review the Sailor Moon Jewelry Box. Check out their store at www.SugoiMart.com

First of all let’s talk about shipping. The product arrived fast in about 3 days and was well packed with lots of bubble wrap.

Note: Shipping times may vary given that items are being sent to you directly from Japan.

Let’s talk about the site itself. SugoiMart.com is a great place to find Japanese toys, Japanese candy, Japanese housewares and more.

The word Sugoi means “cool” so it’s a cool store to find hard to get Japanese items. Their KitKat selection is huge.

The store is new, but the company behind the scenes is well known to many otaku such as myself. They are the same people behind many wonderful subscription boxes such as Japan Crate, DokiDoki, KiraKira, and Gacha Gacha. Meaning you can feel secure shopping online knowing the goods are coming from a reputable company.

The website is a little tricky to navigate because they have so much stuff! But they do break it down into different categories to make browsing a little easier but you could easily spend hours on their site just because there’s so many cool things to look at!

Moving on let’s talk about the actual product that I ordered. I chose the Sailor Moon box because I’m a big Moonie (fan of Sailor Moon) and I thought it might serve a purpose in helping me organize some of my doll items like spare hands or eyes. I also just thought it was cute. I’m a big fan of anything pink.

I was using a box from the dollar store before and it got the job done but isn’t as cute as the Sailor Moon box.

My boyfriend and I also write a lot of notes to each other and it can be great for keeping our love letters.

Or as the box was originally intended it can serve as a jewelry box. I wouldn’t recommend putting necklaces in the box as the chains may get tangled, but it’d work fine for rings, earrings, bracelets, etc.

You could also use it to store makeup or well just about any little thing that you want to keep nice and tidy.

The only downfall of this box is there’s nothing inside like a divider or a cushion or anything so things inside can get a little messy or disorganized.

Otherwise I’ve no complaints. The box has a nice weight, very cute design and a great clasp that is both secure but also not difficult to open or close.

It’s pink with a faceted design like a crystal and the front has the name Sailor Moon, some stars, and silhouette of the anime heroine. The top has a large round sticker that’s mostly pink with Sailor Moons different wands, pendants, and more moons and stars. In the center of all of this is a blue crescent moon with Sailor Moon looking happy in her sailor scout uniform.

Overall I’m happy with the quality and design of the Sailor Moon keepsake box. I would definitely order from SugoiMart again in the future and would recommend them to my readers and friends.

Have you purchased anything yet from SugoiMart? Leave us a comment and let us know what you picked out.
