Anime is now well and truly part of western culture almost as much as it is a part of Eastern culture. Walk into any book store in the United Kingdom, and you will almost certainly find an anime section which is full of the most popular anime books such as Demon Slayer, Akira and Our Dining Table.
Anime TV shows are also now extremely popular in the west, One Piece especially. The anime wave has also found its way into other industries, one which is increasingly interesting is the world of online slot games.
Due to this, we thought it would be of interest to take a look at some of these anime themed slot games so that we can find out if they are any good or not. We will take a look at five of them and we will give them each a score out of 10 based on how related to anime they are.

This one is themed around beautiful anime ladies and certainly makes us feel as if some of the characters in this game could appear in their own Anime series. Moon Princess was created by Play N’ Go and also has a special feature called the Girl Power feature which increases the multipliers when you land the symbols which feature the anime girls on them.
Moon Princess has a quaint soundtrack too which gives us more chilled out anime vibes.
Ninja Ways
Probably the most modern looking anime slot game on this list, Ninja Ways is a high-quality game in its own right due to its unique features and the cluster pays mechanic which it utilises.
We prefer not to talk to you too much about the inner workings of slot games, and would prefer to concentrate on the anime aesthetics. Ninja Ways has the feel of a super exciting anime which includes lots of martial arts and super quick ninja moves.
Koi Princess
Similar to Moon Princess, Koi Princess revolves around a super cute anime lady who stands to the left of the slot reels supporting you on your journey. This one also has something of a Chinese theme to it due to the different Chinese New Year animals which appear on the reels.
Koi Princess is another chilled out game which is also remarkably easy and simple to play.
Super Graphics Upside Down
Although this one was released all the way back in 2012, it still remains a popular game to this day and we really like the graphics. All of the symbols have been given the Anime cartoony makeover which we adore. Another simple one to play, the sound effects here are awesome.
Super Graphics Upside Down has more similarities to old fruit machine slots, but has the addition of a modern anime inspired makeover.
Lucky Little Gods
50% anime and 50% god themed, this Microgaming slot is very cute and full of adorable symbols which are based on little gods. Also known as a high roller slot due to its maximum bet limit of £300, this game is somewhat popular but has not reached the popularity heights of some of the other anime themed slots on this list.
