Lunar Eternal Blue Review by Geeky Sweetie

Title: Lunar Eternal Blue

Genre: RPG

Publisher: GameArts / Studio Alex (Japan) / Working Designs (USA)

This review is of the english version(s) by Working Designs which feature english text and english voice acting.

Geeky Factor: 3/5

Sweetie Factor: 5/5

Story: 10/10

The story of Eternal Blue takes place long after Silver Star Story. In my opinion, Eternal Blue is the better of the two games, but last time I checked, that seemed to be a minority opinion. No previous experience with silver star is required to enjoy eternal blue. In fact, I played eternal blue first, back on the sega cd, and later purchased silver star after completing eternal blue. I have played all of the lunar games in all of their iterations including some that are not very good such as dragon song and walking school. read more

Make Your Sims More Beautiful With Custom Content

Custom Content for Sims 3
Custom content for Sims 3

I often spend more time modding my sims and creating sims, families, and pets, than I do actually playing the games. lol. The sims franchise appeals to a broad range of people and is probably the most well loved game amongst “non-gamer” girls. Girls whom typically do not enjoy video games seem to love the Sims.

One neat thing about the Sims is that you can design your own hairstyles, skin tones, clothing, jewelry, makeup, and accessories. This is known as reskinning or modding in many games. The neat thing about the Sims series is that your new meshes and  textures can coexist with EA’s default textures and items. So you don’t have to lose any items to make room for the new ones. read more

Nokia Lumia 1020 Camera Phone Preview

nokialumia

UPDATE 6/22/15 SO I’ve Now Owned This Phone for about a year! Check out my full review HERE

One of the products that I plan to buy sometime in 2014, is the Nokia Lumia 1020. I plan to buy this device for full price out of contract. It’s $500, in this way, but it’s still the most affordable DSLR Camera on the market today. For those who are willing to sign a new contract with AT&T, the camera phone becomes just $99 with a new service agreement.

Edit to add: (cleaned up images by moving them to a floating div, making this easier to read. also nixed the old banner ads as we use a different platform now.) I also want to add that Kitty Blue in the Ohio ABJD meetup group helped me restring and hot-glue “suede” this doll a year or two ago which helped a lot of the problems I mention in this review. She also told me buying shoes, especially boots that go up the legs, would help add more stability. read more

Sony Vaio Fit 14 Inch Pink Laptop Preview

pinkvaiofit

The Sony Vaio 14 E will soon become my next new laptop. The features that appeal to me are the pink color, the light weight, small, portable size, and the full customization options, which make it a viable gaming rig, all at an affordable price point. Starting at just $579 for their base model, and only $1239 for a fully loaded system.

Geeky Sweetie’s “Sweet Spot”: We take into account price and performance to present our recommended specs.
