Pre-Registration Begins for English Version of Captain Tsubasa Dream Team Anime Soccer Game

The folks over at KLab Inc. sent me their press release announcement for the English version of Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team. Captain Tsubasa is a very old and popular anime about soccer. I have not watched it yet, though I've heard a lot about it. I get a lot of Press Releases in my inbox each day, and I don't always share them here, but this caught my eye with a ton of great giveaways and special events. The fun started yesterday and you only have a short time to take advantage of some of these awesome freebies for new players. The timing of this Press Release was also timely and the content relevant to my current life. I'm sure you've noticed I've not been updating here as frequently the past few months.  I began seeing someone over the end of the summer, and we've spent every week...

Everything We Know About Nintendo Switch – Nintendo’s New Gaming Console and Handheld – Release Date March 2017

UPDATE: 1/18/2017: We now know the launch date is March 3rd, Price is $299.99. Preorders have already begun and appear to be nearly sold out at most retailers. There will be two versions of the console, each identical except for the color of controllers. In one version they are grey like the console itself, and in another version they are neon red and neon blue. Interesting to note, you can purchase additional/new/replacement joycon sticks for example, the neon red and blue, ones separately from retailers such as Gamestop. So even if you can't preorder the exact color console you want (For example, I was hoping for the neon one, but had to get grey, and honestly, feel happy/lucky to have even been able to preorder the Switch at all), you can simply buy these new Joycon sticks and swap them

Orange Manga Review + Crunchyroll Begins Airing Orange Anime Based on the Manga by Ichigo Takano

I'm not as big of a reader as I used to be when I was younger, however, the last few seasons of anime have not held much to capture my interests, and being single again I find myself with too much spare time. So this past year I've been reading a lot of manga! One of my favorites, which is available to read for free on Crunchyroll, is "Orange" -- and a few days ago Crunchyroll announced they will be simul-casting the new anime based on the manga as well! I thought that makes it a good time to share my love of this series. I'm so excited about the anime adaptation! This review is for the manga version :) There may be some slight spoiler for the first volume - I have tried to avoid them and keep this as brief and condensed as possible but if you're worried, I'd recommend reading or watching

Kawaii Cat Cafe JRPG, 7th Dragon, Heads West with Over 96 Ways to Customize the Appearance of Your Hero

7th Dragon until now, has remained a title only available in Japan, but that is about to change with 7th Dragon III Code VFD on the Nintendo 3DS. This quirky little Time Travel RPG sees us in a not too distant future which is at war with powerful dragons. In order to save the world from destruction, you must travel to the ancient city of Atlantis, future capital of Eden, and present day Tokyo. The artwork features chibi super-deformed, bobble head, big head, tiny body style character designs, giving everything a very cute anime feeling. Check out the trailer below to see what I mean. Very Kawaii!: https://youtu.be/LPaYz7MIgiw With the cute art work, and almost endless ways to customize your hero, this game immediately sparks my radar. I admit, I've not heard of 7th Dragon until now. I'...

Ni No Kuni 2 | Ni No Kuni The White Witch 2 | Ni No Kuni Sequel | Playstation 4

Ni No Kuni the White Witch is one of my favorite games of all time. It's a heart warming story about a small boy trying to save his mother. Best of all, it's done by Studio Ghibli and has all the charm and love that we've come to expect from films such as Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, and Princess Kaguya. At the recent live stream event, Sony just announced Ni No Kuni 2, a sequel to the first game, which will be coming in 2016 to the Playstation 4. Check out the announcement trailer below: https://youtu.be/VMuVM9Sn8W0   Related articles 20+ Studio Ghibli Tattoos Inspired By Miyazaki Films Japan's Studio Ghibli Named Asian Filmmaker of the Year at Busan 'Totoro' creator Hayao Miayazaki to build a 'nature park' for children Play

Sometimes Always Monsters Preview Sequel to Always Sometimes Monsters

While trying to promote my recent review of Always Sometimes Monsters over here I came across exciting news on destructoid that a direct sequel is in the works titled Sometimes Always Monsters. As a little aside, that title drives me crazy. I always forget if the first game is titled Sometimes Always Monsters or Always Sometimes Monsters. The only way I can keep it straight now is by reminding myself that A is the "first" letter in the alphabet "Always" and S is the first letter of "Second" or "Sequel". Anyways, it aims to preserve the continuity of the first game and be a "direct" sequel. You can import your saved data from Always Sometimes Monsters and your decisions, ending, etc all carry over to the new game. The main gist of the story appears to follow the "good end" of the first ga

King’s Quest To Get a Sequel King’s Quest IX on July 28th 2015.

I think I recall hearing about this a year or two ago... but it fell to the back of my mind... until a facebook ad told me to like Sierra Games for updates on the "new" king's quest game. Upon clicking that ad, I saw the game is about to release on July 28th.... and I SPAZZED OUT. I can barely contain myself to even write this right now... https://youtu.be/GDQ1WjjHaNI I own ALL of the games. My favorite is "heir today, gone tomorrow" because it was the first one I played :) (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); They are beautifully hand drawn point and click games with charming (Although sometimes cheesey) characters and humor mixed in. Their last title, was NOT a good move for the company and I assumed would be the death of the series (They made an ultima-ish firs...

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Revealed at E32015

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Final Fantasy 7 Remake Revealed at E32015. Check out the trailer below and prepare to fangirl over this news. SquareEnix first teased the audience with an overly cute and juvenile new Final Fantasy game on Playstation Vita, titled Final Fantasy Worlds. The rumors were crazy all week long that SquareEnix would announce a full Final Fantasy 7 Remake at this year's E3 - This is NOT the PC to PS4 port that was announced last year. Oh no, this is a brand new game, built from the ground up to reimagine the cult classic RPG of our generation, for a brand new generation of gamers. Details are scarce. No release date, no idea if it will stick to it's roots and be a traditional JRPG with turn-based combat, or if it will branch out into newer ...

Nokia Lumia 1020 Camera Phone Preview

UPDATE 6/22/15 SO I've Now Owned This Phone for about a year! Check out my full review HERE One of the products that I plan to buy sometime in 2014, is the Nokia Lumia 1020. I plan to buy this device for full price out of contract. It's $500, in this way, but it's still the most affordable DSLR Camera on the market today. For those who are willing to sign a new contract with AT&T, the camera phone becomes just $99 with a new service agreement. The images throughout this article are from Flickr's creative commons. Rights belong to original photographers. Photos link to original photographer's flickr page. All photos taken with Nokia Lumia 1020. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Even at the $500 price tag though it's still the best buy for casual photogr
