Godaddy Sucks

Honest Godaddy Review – Why I Left Godaddy After 20 Years

I joined Godaddy back in 1999. Aside from some other free very early websites back in the early 90s, like Geocities, Godaddy was the only web host provider I ever had. And I was perfectly happy with them. Any time I had an issue, which honestly, in and of itself was pretty rare, the support team was quick to fix it. I didn’t like the overly sexualized sensationalized advertising, but as a marketing professional myself, I understand that sometimes sex sells. I didn’t care – and honestly didn’t know – about the questionable ethics of both the company and of its founder. All I knew is my websites worked and it was cheap and that was good enough. read more

Replay FX - Pittsburgh PA

Replay FX Retro Gaming Convention Pittsburgh PA

Replay FX - Pittsburgh PA
Replay FX – Pittsburgh PA

I attended Replay FX, a retro gaming convention in Pittsburgh PA. I really enjoyed my time there, and definitely plan to return next year as well. The convention includes hundreds of arcade games, console games, and board games. All of the electronic games are from the 80s-90s with no modern games in sight so it’s definitely aimed at Retro gamers.

They had tournaments for Dr Mario, Tecmo Bowl, and Smash Brothers, to name a few. They also had a cosplay competition. There are large cash prizes for all of the competitions. We didn’t enter any competitions this time, but I did cosplay, just for fun. I brought out my Love Live School Idol Festival Kotori Cosplay Costume again – I’ve been wearing it a lot lately, and also plan to wear it again soon for Animu at the Zoo also in Pittsburgh, PA. read more

Recast BJD

Recast ABJD – A Year Later – Would I Still Recommend Purchasing Recast?

I shared my decision to purchase my first recast BJD, about 14 months ago now. I wrote a very in depth, as neutral as I could manage, post about the pros and cons of buying Recast ABJD which you can read here.

A year has passed now since my first recast dolls arrived, and I have bought many other Recast BJD since then.

BTS

BTS World Game Review

BTS now has an official visual novel style game that puts you in the role of managing your favorite boy band. Unfortunately, it is a great concept but has poor execution. There are lots of features which sound fun, but somehow still miss the mark. Even if you love BTS, which I do, this game still feels dull and boring. But somehow it’s cute, and I still find myself playing it and hoping it will get better. I’m grateful they made this game and took time to translate the text to English. Even if it is rather mediocre at best. read more

CurvyGirlsDolls

Curvy Girls Dolls Kickstarter for Plus Sized Balljoint Doll – Get the doll for just a $25 pledge!

Hey please check out this kickstarter for a plus size balljoint doll. It’s 11 inches tall, so it’s tiny. About the height of a Barbie. But look at its voluptuous body. Barbie ain’t got curves like this girl 🙂

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/curvygirls/curvy-girls-dolls-plus-size-fashion-dolls

The doll is jointed. Yes, there are Barbies these days who are jointed too. But this doll improves on that joint system by special ankle joints that allow the doll to wear ANY style of shoes, from flats to high heels, and anything in between. read more

I had downloaded this game, Mr. Love Queen’s Choice, months ago, and forgot all about it, until I saw someone on instagram sharing a video stream of the game, and I was like wow that game looks fun. Then I saw it was by Elex, makers of Love Nikki Dressup Queen, and I was like, I need to play this game. Since then, I’ve sunk probably 20 hours into the game and am really enjoying it so far.

Idol M@ster Shiny Colors – Japanese Mobile Game Review and Kinda Brief English Walkthrough

I am really into Idol M@ster Shiny Colors. Unlike other Idol M@ster Mobile Games or Love Live or Bang Dream, Idol M@ster Shiny Colors is not a rhythm game. Idol M@ster Shiny Colors is a simulation game. You are a producer and “hire” idols to work in your studio. You draw the idols from gacha.

Please note – I did not realize this when I played, but on your first 10 play gacha, you get UNLIMITED REROLLS by pushing the YELLOW BUTTON on the left. Once you are happy with your cards press the PINK button on the right. I didn’t know, I pushed the pink button and I only had one SSR. I have been thinking about starting over (and still might) but I think I had some pre-registration bonuses and other things I don’t want to lose by restarting the game. So definitely do not push the Pink button until you have the cards you want. read more

Kawaii Pachinko Machine

Pachinko – The Japanese Slot Machines

Pachinko- The Japanese Slot Machines

Gambling has long been a taboo in Japanese culture, an area largely used by the Yakuza as a means to make money and launder money, but there’s one kind of gambling that’s both generally accepted and almost exclusively played in Japan! Rather than playing slot games like the ones we have in the west (such as https://games.paddypower.com/c/jackpot-king) it’s more common that you’ll see characters in anime or dramas playing a game called pachinko! But just how do you play pachinko and are they really like slot machines? read more

Release Date:

Genre: Dressup Otome Game

Platform: IOS and Android

In fact, before getting the meat of the game, you must go through a very lengthy tutorial, that for a mobile/casual gamer will probably take more than a few days to complete. In this tutorial you learn a lot about the story and setting of Helix Waltz. This is where we see the majority of the differences that set Helix Waltz apart from other similar Dressup Games. read more
