Orange Manga Review + Crunchyroll Begins Airing Orange Anime Based on the Manga by Ichigo Takano

I'm not as big of a reader as I used to be when I was younger, however, the last few seasons of anime have not held much to capture my interests, and being single again I find myself with too much spare time. So this past year I've been reading a lot of manga! One of my favorites, which is available to read for free on Crunchyroll, is "Orange" -- and a few days ago Crunchyroll announced they will be simul-casting the new anime based on the manga as well! I thought that makes it a good time to share my love of this series. I'm so excited about the anime adaptation! This review is for the manga version :) There may be some slight spoiler for the first volume - I have tried to avoid them and keep this as brief and condensed as possible but if you're worried, I'd recommend reading or watching

Boxychan Anime Box – June Unboxing Photos and Review – Monthly Subscription Box for Anime and Manga Fans

I just finished my review for Betoyo Bento here. In this review I mentioned how I just had a birthday a few weeks ago and my best friend gifted me with 2 subscription boxes. Here is the 2nd of those subscriptions - Boxychan Anime Box. I liked this box so well that I subscribed myself after opening this awesome box. I'm also going to update my top ten list of subscription boxes for geeky girls to reflect my love of Boxychan. What makes Boxychan so great in my opinion are two things - 1.) It has stuff you'll actually use. I don't know if "every" box is like this, but I'm assuming each box contains one manga and one dvd. - that's actually stuff I want! stuff I'm already buying. Yes, little figures and posters and candy and other things are good - but this is stuff that's expensive, manga is u

Romantic Diary Anime Otome Dressup Game Dating Sim with Cooking and Crafting

I just discovered, Romantic Diary, an anime Otome Dating Sim which is part Dressup Game, part Visual Novel, part Cooking Game, and has an extensive crafting system. At the core, this game looks quite similar to Hello Nikki! Which I reviewed here. However, it seems to have more robust features, and a heavier emphasis on story telling and dating elements. It's also a "Stat-Raising" game similar to Princess Maker (which I reviewed here) or Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side (which I reviewed here). Are you thinking about playing this game? If so please use my friend code (input it later after the tutorial at the "friend" screen). We'll both get free stuff! <3 Use Invite Code: 82477180 Title: Romantic Diary Price: Free Platforms: IOS and Android Where To Get Romantic Diary: Go

Taisho Alice Picked Up For English Localization by E2 Gaming Who Expressed Interest In bringing Other Otome Games Overseas As Well

Taisho Alice has just been picked up for a North American Release by E2 Gaming. I found this news on Tumblr and verified it on E2 Gaming's Facebook Page, where they've also announced a new image song for the English release. Taisho Alice could best be described as a fairytale crossover. The different routes relate to common fairytales such as Snow White, Cinderella, Princess Kaguya, the Wizard of Oz, and of course, Alice in Wonderland. It is an Otome Game - this is a type of game (generally a visual novel) (a game in which you read, and are prompted at times to make a decision which effects which parts of the story and which endings you will see) in which the main protagonist is a female - There are often (but not always) dating sim elements and a strong focus on romance and relation

Wolf Children – Anime Review – Feature Length Anime Movie – Anime Film – Family Film

As of today, Wolf Children is my all-time favorite anime "movie" (feature length, stand-alone film). I must've watched it 20 times or more by now. If you love Studio Ghibli films, you've got to check out Wolf Children. It's not a Ghibli film, but it feels like it should be one. It has the same things that make Ghibli films so endearing. A heart warming tale of a family and a coming of age story, which in the end has an important message or two to leave with the viewer. In this case, Wolf Children drives home a message about loving your children, no matter who they choose to grow up to be, a very important message for any parent to embrace in this day and age. You cannot change your children. Some day they will grow up and leave home, and all you can do is try to raise them with love and...

Hello Nikki Anime Dressup Game with Limited Event Items

UPDATE 2018: Hello Nilki Let's Beauty Up Has Been Closed For Almost Two Years. There is a newer app available in English called Love Nikki Dress Up Queen which I reviewed here. Here is some more info about Hello Nikki Let's Beauty Up shutting down their English version: The game I reviewed was actually Hello Nikki Let's Beauty Up! Developed by Gamedreamers MY (maybe stands for Malaysia? I'm not sure, but the game was released in English by a chinese publisher named xiong xiang (at least on the IOS app store) The game closed in November 2016 It is amazingly similar to Love Nikki Dress Up Queen (because of the quests, overworld maps, story, characters, gacha, and online competitions with other players, etc) Here is a post about the English servers shut down notice: https://www
